Anna Flora Windsor at Home

Anna Flora Windsor is an interior designer and textile artist, known for her philosophy, Garden-Led Interior Design; an approach rooted in the beauty of the English garden.

It is a particularly evocative way of designing, in which Anna draws upon cherished outdoor spaces as a palette for her clients’ homes. Perhaps within a small potager, or the grounds of a country home - a drift of apple blossom, moss-softened stone, or old roses dappled through ancient oaks are catalogued; the small, fleeting moments that give gardens character, form the scheme from which the interior grows.

It is an approach grounded in the traditions of the English country house, where home and garden have long existed in harmony. This same practice is woven through Anna's hand-painted, organic textile collections, where garden flowers and foliage are translated into furnishing fabrics available by the metre, or commissioned and reimagined as bespoke heirloom textiles, inspired by a client's own garden.

“To be able to translate the feeling of a garden into the home, and allow it to be felt every day, is at the heart of everything I do.”
